TOTTENHAM midfielder Luka Modric believes the club's recent upturn in form is down to the motivational skills of new boss Harry Redknapp.
The Croatia international admitted he had become disillusioned with events under Redknapp's predecessor Juande Ramos, as a communication breakdown threatened to tear apart the club.
"We are all delighted with the results since the arrival of our new coach Harry Redknapp, he is a great coach and certainly our revival is down to Harry," he told Vecernji Vjesnik.
"In comparison to Juande Ramos, he talks to the players and can motivate us.
"Then we have gone on and got results which have filled us with confidence.”
The 22-year-old knows that, while the team have enjoyed a fine run under the new regime, they are still embroiled in a relegation battle, with a host of teams within touching distance of each other in the bottom half of the table.
"The points difference is small amongst the clubs at the bottom end so another series of results like we have just had and we can finally move away from the dangerous zone.”
Modric injured his groin during last week's defeat by Fulham, although he insists it is not serious.
"On my injury, it does not worry me too much - I knew I had done something after 15 minutes."
