Seen here in 1930, Chingford Mount Cemetery was opened in 1884 and covers an area of over 41 acres and graves of Commonwealth service personnel from World War One and World War Two can be seen there.
The gates at the western main entrance survive from the 19th century but sadly the adjacent lodge has been replaced.
A talk on the cemetery is on April 18, see chingfordhistory.org.uk for details.
