A MAN has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) following an incident where someone was stabbed.

21-year-old Joseph Clark, from Middle Street in Nazeing, was arrested after the incident.

Police were called to the scene at 2.36am on Saturday morning (November 15) where a 24-year-old man had been stabbed, suffering injuries to his back.

Officers searched the area at Star Holme Court in Ware and two people were arrested in connection to the incident.

Mr Clark appeared at St Albans Magistrates Court yesterday (November 17) when he was released on conditional bail.

He has been ordered to observe a curfew between 9pm and 5.45pm everyday; not to enter Hertfordshire; to surrender his passport to police; and to sleep and live at his address in Nazeing.

He is due to appear at St Albans Crown court on February 2.

The stab victim was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow before being transferred to the Royal Free Hospital where his condition is described as stable.

No further action was taken against a 27-year-old man from Ware, also arrested.
