THE young children in Buckhurst Hill are being provided with an exciting new playground in the recreation ground off Roding Lane. Even before it has been built, vandals have attacked and damaged the new equipment which will cost us – the taxpayer – money to put right. The police cannot stay in the area 24-hours-a-day so we need your help in identifying who these mindless anti-social vandals are. Please report any suspicious activity in the playground to the police.

WE have resumed fortnightly refuse collections, the roads are still full of potholes, we have had a government body telling the council the place is filthy, but we are told the council tax must go up because there is not enough money.
