Will taxpayers' views count this time?

I AM writing in disgust to the news that Waltham Abbey is to be the ground for yet another low cost supermarket, which will be a blot on the landscape offering food that no-one in their right mind would want to eat.
No doubt the council will pass the application without even asking us - the taxpayers– what we think.
