Don't put away your cues yet, snooker club is still open

IN response to the article (Guardian, October 23 edition) regarding Waltham Abbey Snooker Club, I, as proprietor, feel it necessary to respond and put the record straight.
Waltham Abbey Snooker Club has been the venue for good entertainment for the past 25 years, providing leisure and social activities for both young and old.
In these troubled times of credit crunch, which affects all of us in the licensing trade and for all with less money in our pockets, it provides a place of enjoyment for friends to gather and have a good time for a reasonable amount of money.
