Councillor never said a bad word in his political life

I WAS stunned to hear of the sudden death of councillor John Beanse – a truly good man.

I spoke to him about a week before his death and he was more interested in my health than the leaflets I was delivering for him.

To me, his most amazing quality was that he never ever said or wrote a word against another political party, which was almost unbelievable.

He was too busy doing his job and helping us, the residents.

He was a very special person and his death will leave a gaping hole in the local Lib Dem Party, and in the lives of his family and friends.
