TOTTENHAM legend Les Ferdinand feels that Spurs cannot afford to sell Robbie Keane if they have realistic aims of breaking into the top four, writes Craid Rodhouse.
Keane has been continuously linked with a £20 million move to Liverpool throughout the summer and Ferdinand believes that Ramos cannot afford to sell one of his star players.
"Robbie Keane is proven in the Premier League, scores goals week in, week out and is one of those forwards who can produce something a little bit special that can change a game." Ferdinand told Setanta Sports.
"From Liverpool's point of view he would be a very good signing but if Tottenham are serious about breaking into the top four I can't see how they can let him go - and as as Spurs fan I hope he stays at White Hart Lane."
